Osaka: 18,000 Miles Achieved

18,000 MILES ACHIEVED
ROUND THE WORLD CYCLIST
A great day, the culmination of 10 years vision, planning and training, sixteen and a half months actually cycling around the world. 18,009 miles, 29 countries and 5 continents. 6 weeks ahead of the 18 months that I’d allowed for this.
Finished at Osaka castle.
However unlike say a marathon this is not just about finishing and the time but has been about the journey. The cycling, Yes, but the sights that I’ve seen on the way and the people that I’ve met. Both physically and through social media.
