Lake Havasu City: Home of London Bridge

Tuesday 4th June 2019, Lake Havasu City.
Another very tough but good day, 137km in 40 degs C heat.
Definitely a day of two halves. The morning was a lovely flat ride with the beautiful Big Maria mountains to the left. The afternoon went through a wilderness area of State Parks with 600m of climb. The temperature was such that the tar on the roads was melting.
Was fascinated to arrive in Lake Havasu City and see the old London Bridge which was sold in 1963. Around it is a somewhat tacky little London.

Follow Robert’s route from Ehrenberg to Lake Havasu City here.
