Brawley

Saturday 1st June 2019, Brawley.
Well after yesterday’s exertions I woke up this morning and didn’t feel much like cycling. Of course I set off and after an hour felt much better. Fortunately today was as expected. A long, 125 km, hot ride through a desert area. Mountains one side and a sea (I would have called it a lake) the other.
Amazed my body’s holding up really.
Another long ride in store tomorrow.

A border patrol post on the highway with more cameras than a Chinese checkpoint. Couldn’t understand it until I arrived at my destination for the day. Less than 20 miles from the Mexican border.
