Friday 5th April 2019, York.
Another very tough day. Only 114km (a fortnight ago this would have been a long distance for me!) but the climb of 1.1km made it much harder. Countryside was very pleasant.
Passed the 12,000 mile mark, two thirds of the way. Another significant milestone. Still managing 1,000 miles a month despite a two week break with the family in March.
York is a delightful small town about 60 miles east of Perth. It was built at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. It is though time has stood still. On Main Street all the original buildings are still there and no modern ones have been built.
