Friday 22nd February 2019, Guangzhou.
A couple of days ago I was bemoaning the lack of interesting sights. Well the last few days has corrected that and this morning in Foshan especially so. The 11th century Zumiao Temple was magnificent. To my mind a strange combination of Confucian temples and martial arts such as Kung fu. The main Confucian temple had plenty of strange bearded male statues so I immediately felt at home.
A short 50km ride in the afternoon to Guangzhou where I have a challenge on the Exploration Day tomorrow to try and fit everything in. Be careful what you wish for.
