Zhanjiang

Thursday 14th February 2019, Zhanjiang.
Many hotels here don’t provide breakfast but do have a kettle in the room. So it was a couple of tubs of pot noodles. A tip picked up from a cycling blog.
A quiet day with a ride of nearly 100km. A straightforward but uninspiring route.
Highlight was coming across a Chinese New Year parade. Celebrations go on for for 10 days.
The Gorilla tape is so far successfully holding the rear pannier frame together.
Left knee has gone a bit iffy. So much on this trip is balanced on a knife edge.
Weather forecast for the next few days predicts rain. It threatened today but didn’t materialise.
