Day in Udaipur

Saturday 3rd November, Udaipur.

An intricately carved Hindu temple and then the wonderful City Palace. The Maharajas here were clearly fantastically wealthy although it was a bit of a rabbit warren.
The afternoon was spent trying to sort out a train ticket to Kerala. Not helped by Wednesday being Diwali. In the end managed to get a ticket but have to get the bike sorted at Jodhpur station in a few days time. Udaipur station though is the best one since Porto.
At dinner tonight the waitress tried to persuade me that I was ordering too much food. I insisted and when I had eaten it all she apologised!
