Corinth Memories

Wednesday 5th September. A shortish 40km ride through olive groves and mountains from Mycenae to Corinth this morning. Then looking around the archeological site of ancient Corinth in the afternoon which the apostle Paul visited a couple of times.
You often comes across interesting things away from the main sites. Thus it was that I found a column to 1 Corinthians 13, Paul’s great chapter on love, in the churchyard of the local church.
I found this very poignant as it was the reading at my mother’s funeral. Cancer Research UK is one of the two charities being supported by Robertsride18000.com as she died from stomach cancer.
Proper longer ride tomorrow to Athens.
