Today was to be an easier day, just 20 miles, because of the proximity of Safi, the next town. And so it proved to be.
But first, before breakfast there was the washing down of the bike to try and remove the sand from yesterday, using tap water filled into a 1l plastic bottle.
On then to Safi which is an industrial town, cycling past the cement works and phosphate plant. Also a port since Phoenician times.
Then the afternoon a look around Safi, the castle, medina etc A wonderful centre full of history for a commercial centre.
Tomorrow a longer ride and then a decision as to whether to have a rest day after 4 days of riding or to carry on.
