The UK Government announces “Prime Minister Boris Johnson launches ambitious plans to boost cycling and walking.”
The Prime Minister today launched a £2bn health and fitness initiative at Beeston Canalside Heritage Centre, just down the road from Robert’s home. Among a range of other cycling enthusiasts, Robert was invited to attend the launch event.

Boris said “congratulations on the achievements of Robert’s Ride 18,000″.

On 19 October 2019 Robert officially completed his round the world cycle at Bramcote Hills Park, Nottingham. He was joined by family, friends, dignitaries and wellwishers from the community and wider afield.
